Qualtrics

Below are the instructions and guidelines for Qualtrics accounts in the BYUH Brand and how to sign up.

All BYUH-branded Qualtrics accounts are tied to net ids and use single-sign-on to access Qualtrics. Here are the instructions for signing up for a BYUH-branded Qualtrics account.

  1. Go to BYUH Qualtrics
  2. Sign in using your BYUH credentials (same as Canvas, PeopleSoft, Workday, etc.).  This automatically creates an account.
  3. Use the same link to log in thereafter (bookmark it in your browser for quick access).

All users of BYUH Branded Qualtrics accounts must follow university institutional and survey research policy protocol (found under Policies & Procedures on the Human Resources page), keep within IRB requirements, and uphold other regulations such as FERPA. As a reminder, surveys should not be sent to all campus constituents (students, faculty, or staff) via email or through university bulletins without prior approval from Institutional Research and a member or representative of the executive council. Surveys and outreach conducted within the bounds of your department/program business do not need approval from outside the department/program.

Please note, that all students or go.byuh.edu accounts must be associated with a faculty or staff mentor. Mentors ensure that students follow the guidelines for BYUH Branded Qualtrics accounts. Student accounts without an associated mentor will not be upgraded (i.e. will remain in trial mode) and may be disabled. Students must follow the guidance and instruction of their mentor when using their BYUH-branded Qualtrics accounts.

Once the above steps have been completed, mentors must let Melanie Serrao Hill (melanies.serraohill@byuh.edu) know to ensure their accounts are upgraded to a Standard account. Students or go.byuh.edu accounts without an associated mentor will not be upgraded and may be disabled.
