About Us

Purpose
The purpose of assistantships is to give students valuable research and/or development experience in their chosen fields of study. Student assistants will work with a sponsoring faculty mentor on a project of significant scholarly depth (maximum 10 hours per week). The expectation is that the results of the project will be of the quality that they can be presented at appropriate professional meetings and/or published in a periodical or journal.
Compensation
Student Researchers are paid up to 10 hours per work week to do research and may receive funding
for conference travel.
