Todd Black is another outstanding student here in the School of Computing. Todd is from California and originally came to BYUH for water polo. He is majoring in Information Systems His “knack for it” is apparent by his many certifications. Todd’s certifications include Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician, Microsoft certified IT professional, and Microsoft Certified Professional. He has received multiple IS academic scholarships and had the opportunity of being the student lead over the SOC Service Learning activity aka Computer Repair Workshop. Todd likes to learn about systems vulnerabilities and has even given presentations on the subject. Outside of school, Todd likes to play sports and go to the beach. He will graduate this upcoming August, after which he is going to be a Microsoft Certified Trainer for Microsoft teaching technical classes and being a consultant. Overall, his future goals include having a good job, starting a family with his wife Michelle, and being happy. To any undecided majors or possible CS, IS, or IT Majors, Todd says with a smile, “Choose a major that involves the things that you love doing so that you somewhat enjoy your classes.” |
