Areas of Professional Study and Interest: Wendy teaches international students in the English as an International Language department and takes a special interest in helping them improve their pronunciation and public speaking skills. Her interests in teaching English started when she helped high school friends with ESL and then tutored international students in college. Wendy earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies (2006) with minors in History and Art History and a Master of Second Language Teaching (2007) from Utah State University in Logan, UT. Wendy speaks Swedish fluently and has studied Spanish, French and Italian. She has studied in South Korea and Mexico and has visited Japan, Denmark, Guatemala and Honduras. |
