| Every year the BYU Hawaii Reading Writing Center engages in more than 6,000 face to face tutorials. Tutorials last for 30 minutes and are based on your sense of the help you would like to receive. We do not simply proof-read or edit papers, but if you are willing to sit down with a tutor and discuss your writing assignments, our tutors can help you find ways to strengthen your writing. We hope you will take the time to discover how helpful a tutorial can be.

Online tutoring allows you to email your papers and receive tutorial help without actually visiting the Center. As with Face-to-Face tutorials, we do not proof-read or edit papers. What we can do is read and offer suggestions for improving those papers and your writing skills in general. There is a turn around time with online papers: Expect word back on your paper within 48 hours. It may take longer for papers submitted on Fridays.
