We at the BYU-Hawaii Reading/Writing Center are committed to helping our students become better and more independent writers. Besides scheduled face-to-face or online tutorials, we now offer brief chat tutorials with our Joe Tutor -- our very own RWC Facebook friend. If you have Facebook (and we know you do), add Joe as your friend! While the center is open, Joe Tutor will be online to answer any quick questions you may have. These tutorials are limited to about five minutes so that Joe can also be available to help those physically in the Center.

RULES AND POLICIES: - Joe Tutor will work with one student at a time.
- Chats will last a maximum of 5 minutes. - Joe will offer suggestions and answer questions as best as he can, but he will not make direct edits to your paper. - Joe will not help schedule in-personal tutorial appointments through the chat service. - Circumstances at the Center may prevent Joe from giving an immediate reply, so your patience is appreciated. Joe will assist you as soon as he is available. **Joe Tutor is a service available only to those affiliated with Brigham Young University-Hawaii. When beginning a chat session with Joe, please state the class and/or teacher whose assignment you are working on. Thank you!** |
