Betty Nikora is the Academic Advisor for the English, International Cultural Studies and the Fine Arts Departments. She assists with registration, transfer credits, graduation plans, questions about the majors or minors, and any other academic concerns. BYU Hawaii accepts transfer credit from accredited institutions if the courses are not remedial and have a minimum grade of C-. However, this does not mean the credit is equivalent to our general education or major requirements. After transfer students provide the syllabi and/or course descriptions for each transfer class, she will process the substitution/equivalency request with the appropriate department. |
